The book has a good number of twists, but they're all concentrated towards the beginning and end. What's in the middle however makes up for an interesting read/5.

  3. Aug 22,  · My thanks to Random House U.K. Cornerstone /Arrow for an eARC via NetGalley of Merilyn Davies’ ‘When I Lost You’ in exchange for an honest review. As the price was appealing, I elected to purchase its ebook/e-audiobook combination for an immersive experience. This is a police procedural set in Oxford/5(38).
  4. The plot of When I Lost You by Kelly Rimmer drew me right in. The writing style of this author allows no other reaction as to be intrigued by the plot. We follow a story that is shifting between present and past. Explaining the here and now and slowly also the past drop by agonizing drop.4/5.
  5. Roses each one met with the Sun Sweetheart, when I met you The sunshine had fled, the roses were dead Sweetheart, when I lost you I lost the sunshine and roses I lost the heavens of blue I lost the beautiful rainbow I lost the morning dew I lost the angel who gave me Summer the whole Winter through, I lost the gladness that turned into sadness.
  6. When I lost you is a beutiful example how reacting on impulse is never a good decision. You should make it clear, that what you heard/read or saw was just the way you interpreted it. Or else a lot of damage could be done. Just like in this book/5.
